The second Cath Kidston and Disney collaboration launches to the public tomorrow, December 3, with a collection dedicated to Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

The first collection paid tribute to one of the world’s most famous bears, Winnie-the-Pooh, and saw most lines selling out within hours, while driving record number of visits to the British fashion and lifestyle brand’s website, hitting over 3,500 percent higher than usual.

The anticipation for the Mickey and Minnie Mouse collection is even higher, especially as it comes just in time for Christmas, and launches just days after Disney celebrated the 88th birthday of Mickey Mouse.

The collection spans across womenswear, kidswear and accessories, as well as homeware and stationery, with key products featuring exclusive new prints, where the Disney characters have been blended into signature Cath Kidston prints, including a number of floral designs, classic spots, and a London illustration print, which sees Mickey visiting some of the capitals favourite landmarks.

At the centre of the collection is a fun, playful energy, with Cath Kidston paying tribute to Mickey and Minnie’s roots as mischievous cartoon characters.

Highlights from the womenswear collection includes a Minnie and Mickey grey spot sweatshirt, a Minnie navy jumper, a Minnie and Mickey red pocket cardigan, and Mickey hearts Minnie PJs. There are also a number of key accessories including the Minnie floral canvas tote bag, a Mickey and Minnie spot satchel, and numerous backpacks with the highlight being the Mickey in London print.

There’s also an extensive selection for children including sweatshirts, dresses, T-shirts, PJs, bags, socks, and even a tutu skirt.

Disney x Cath Kidston launches second collection

Key pieces expected to sell out quickly includes the Mickey and Minnie mugs, the coin purses, the tea towels, make-up bags, and foldaway totes, which all come in at under 20 pounds.

Cath Kidston’s group marketing director, Sue Chidler, said: “We are delighted to launch the Mickey and Minnie Mouse range as the second collection in the Disney x Cath Kidston partnership. Following the success of the Winnie-the-Pooh collection, where much of the product sold out within hours, we are really excited to see the response from customers to this collection.

“The Mickey and Minnie Mouse range has been a delight to work on as the two iconic characters truly resonate with the Cath Kidston brand. Each piece in the collection is full of character and a playful energy that pays tribute to Mickey and Minnie’s enduring love story and heritage as mischievous characters.”

The Disney x Cath Kidston Mickey Mouse limited edition collection will launch online tonight, December 2 at 8pm for customers who have signed up to the retailers VIP pre-sale e-mail. The collection will then be available in selected stores in the UK, overseas, and online for all from December 3.
