Restaurant and bar German Gymnasium in London’s King’s Cross is paying a special tribute to Karl Lagerfeld with a bespoke cocktail and floral installation.

The German restaurant is calling the late Lagerfeld “Germany’s most famous fashion designer” and has created a special one-off cocktail in collaboration with Moët and Chandon.

The Karl is a brightly coloured cocktail made of Moët and Chandon Rosé-spiked with Brockman’s gin, Lillet rosé and house strawberry liquor and takes inspiration from Lagerfeld’s “far-reaching vibrant impact on the fashion industry,” explained the restaurant.

While the Grand Café atrium features a show-stopping, magnificent floral dress designed by McQueen’s florists that has been inspired by one of Lagerfeld’s most iconic dresses for Chanel, as well as an ethereal metal work of Karl’s profile with his iconic sunglasses.

The Karl cocktail costs 15.50 pounds.
