L.K. Bennett has launched its first ever, ready-to-wear collaboration, with London Fashion Week label Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, filled with asymmetric silk skirts, floral and sequinned dresses and knitwear.
Available online and in selected L.K. Bennett stores, the collaboration of floral dresses and beaded knits, has already been a big hit with celebrities including Olivia Palermo, Caroline Issa and model Erin O’Connor, who stars in the campaign imagery.
The collection is described by Preen as a “great example of us drawing on an archive Preen design an adapting it with a new graphic floral print for the L.K. Bennett customer,” drawing inspiration from the floral watercolours of Scottish designer, architect and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh, to create a timeless capsule of sixteen feminine designs.
Highlights include the ‘Devoto’ handkerchief-hem dress, the ‘Vali' asymmetric wrap with waterfall collar and the ‘Sioux’ cold-shoulder wrap devoré dress. The collection also includes jumpers, from the simple burgundy and gold ‘Annik’ to the royal blue sequinned ‘Patti’, which can be seen styled with the asymmetrical blue and gold ‘Reed’ and the black and white ‘Shelly’ skirt. While the statement piece is the raspberry-coloured sequinned ‘Sonic’ dress.
L.K. Bennett x Preen is out now with prices ranging from 195 to 550 pounds.
