French fashion designer, model and aristocrat Inès de la Fressange has joined forces with Petit Bateau to developed a new capsule collection for the brand, of which all proceeds will be given to the International Federation for Human Rights.

De la Fressange, who is known for her best-selling book "Parisian Chic," has created six pieces for women and six for children, as well as three baby outfits and a bag. All the items reflect Petit Bateau signature red, white and blue colour scheme. Designs include a sailor shirt and turtleneck with hand drawn stripes.

The designer is said to be a long-time customer of Petit Bateau, which is known for its children's apparel and adult staples such as t-shirts and underwear. "This French product is my childhood. Petit Bateau is a beloved brand, it’s timeless, passed on from generation to generation. It is also a symbol of quality, the best materials and the best style," said de la Fressange in a statement to WWD.

Both Petit Bateau and de la Fressange are no strangers to creating collaborative collection. Petit Bateau previously worked together with designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Cédric Charlier and Tsumori Chisato, while de la Fressange has an ongoing design collaboration with Japanese fashion brand Uniqlo. However, the capsule collection holds a special place in her heart, as she aims to raise awareness for the Federation, which brings together 178 organizations in 120 countries.

"For six years, I have participated in their events, where I’ve met people who fight for rights and liberties. I am impressed by the personal stories of these people and also by all the volunteers who organize these events to raise money. If I can be of use to the cause with this collection, all the better," she added.

The capsule collection is set to go on sale in Petit Bateau stores and online on November 16, 2016.
