British fashion and lifestyle brand Jack Wills has expanded its sportswear collection with its first menswear line, following the success of its women’s range, launched in January.

The Jack Wills Sporting Goods range for men, like with the womenswear collection, has been designed in-house and features pieces sources from P&R Texteis, the retailer’s Portuguese partner that specialises in technical sportswear.

The collection is made up of a selection of athletic clothing including the Alderton training hoodie, long-sleeved Henworth top and Haydon gym vest, all made from high performance, technical fabric gym-ready jersey that have been designed to be worn when playing 5-a-side football, spinning, strength work or sprints.

Peter Williams, founder and chief executive of Jack Wills, said: “We launched our first sports collection for women in January and the response has been fantastic. Doing the same for men was an obvious next step, and is ideally timed with the global growth of athleisurewear.

“Jack Wills is already expert in hoodies and sweats, so the collection brings together our knowledge with the talents of the London-based design team and our efficient, high-quality European partners in Portugal - who already produce products for thousands of Olympic athletes.”

The collection is available from Jack Wills London stores in Covent Garden and Soho, as well as Jack Wills in Heathrow Terminal 3 and online, and the brand has teamed up with model and fitness coach Roger Frampton and Blok gym in Clapton, London to celebrate the launch.
