Jasmin Al Fayed, the daughter of former Harrods tycoon Mohammed Al Fayed, is to close her fashion label Jasmine di Milo. The brand will see its last collection hit stores for the Autumn Winter 2010 season.

Di Milo is expected to pursue her other interests, including looking after her new baby, however the company ensured all contractual obligations will be met, including deliveries to its clients and stores such as Liberty and Harrods.

Jasmine di Milo was founded five years ago, and according to Elle Magazine Online, the brand last year made sales over £5 million. The label, which was characterised by its elegantly draped evening gowns and sculpted cocktail dresses, has been worn by celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Thandie Newton and Florence Welch on the red carpet.
