Jill By Jill Stuart To Open Japanese Flagship Store

Jill Stuart opened its first 1300 square feet 'Jill by Jill Stuart' flagship store in Japan last week. Together with local partner Sanei International, the American fashion company plans to open 15 Jill Stuart stores in Japan over the next three years. The brand has had disappointing results in the US over the last years, but has a cultlike following in Japan, where girls ravish the girlish sportswear and dresses and its signature cuteness.

The collection of Jill by Jill Stuart is a diffusion line featuring cheaper clothes than the ones from the brand's main line.
