June Sarpong to launch new Made in Britain label

TV personality June Sarpong is set to launch a new Made in Britain label in collaboration with designer Daniella Helayel, at design and manufacturing trade show Best of Britannia in September.
Sarpong will launch her new label Ldny, a collaboration with not-for-profit, social enterprise Fashion Enter and designer Daniella Helayel at the Best of Britannia London 2016 event that take place from September 30 - October 2.
In addition to be made in the UK, the collection of dresses will raise funds to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women.
Commenting on the launch, Sarpong said: “The ethos of Ldny is to empower and inspire through the power of fashion. We are also proud to be working with Fashion Enter. All of these elements are what makes our partnership with BOB a match Made in Britain.”
Fashion Enter will also be at Best of Britannia London, where it will be pattern-cutting and machining Ldny product at the show.
Fashion Enter chief executive, Jenny Holloway, added: “Over the last two years we have watched Best of Britannia grow tremendously in terms of exhibitors and footfall, so naturally we are excited to be collaborating this year.
“It's even more special for us as we are working with the fabulous June Sarpong who will be launching her beautiful collection. It's time for the country to fully support the makers of the nation.”
In addition to launching her new label, Sarpong has also been named the new ambassador for the Best of Britannia trade show and will at the event championing British design and manufacturing.
Other fashion and accessory labels showcasing at Best of Britannia London include bespoke tailors Benson and Clegg, luxury leather makers Holdall and Co., English menswear label Oldfield Clothing, womenswear brand Rose and Willard, and sustainable luxury knitwear and yarns label Tengri.
Best of Britannia will take place from September 30 - October 2 at Victoria House, London.
