Karl Lagerfeld launches sportswear line

Karl Lagerfeld, creative director of Chanel and Fendi, has teamed up with online retailer Zalando to launch a sports-inspired collection, Karl Lagerfeld Sport City.

Even though Lagerfeld famously once stated that “Sweatpants are a sign of defeat,” the collection, which consists of 18-pieces, features separates including tracksuit bottoms, dresses, tops, bomber jackets, and skirts, as well as accessories such as bags and clutches.

The exclusive fashion line is available now and combines sports textiles like neoprene, with fashion fabrics such as perforated leather and crepe fabrics, and some pieces include Lagerfeld’s famous cat Choupette as a print.

Prices range from 30 to 330 pounds.
