Kenneth Cole partners with LF Brands

Kenneth Cole has signed a three-year partnership with Belgium-based LF Brands to further expand the brand’s global footwear presence.

The deal will see Kenneth Cole footwear launching in European countries including Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria and the Benelux region. The launch for autumn/winter 2016 will focus on men’s and women’s pieces from the signature Kenneth Cole brand, as well as the women’s Gentle Souls line, part of Kenneth Cole Productions Inc.

Kenneth Cole Productions Inc.’s chief executive officer, Marc Schneider, said: “We are looking forward to having a central European-based partner who specialises in footwear and is able to offer best in class service to department stores and independent retailers in these regions.”

The aim is to expand the global reach of the brand by adding new retail accounts, including department stores, independent retailers and e-commerce. Currently, Kenneth Cole has a presence in North America, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Australia.

LF Brand, founded by Ruben Clijsters, who previously worked at Macintosh Retail Group, has successfully introduced and distributed a number of fashion brands in Europe, including the introduction of Steve Madden four-years-ago.
