Actress Kiera Knightley is the cover girl for the 5th anniversary issue of Canadian fashion and lifestyle magazine Strut. Transformed into a new era Twiggy, the doe-eyed actress seems to have found her perfect role. The waif-like Atonement star posed with slicked-back hair in a tribute to the sixties  English model and style icon Twiggy. Miss Knightley, 22, adopted enormous false eyelashes to complete the resemblance to the model who is still going strong in the 21st century. But of course her strongest asset in the Twiggy lookalike stakes is her lack of padding in the chest department, according to Agencies.

The sixties-inspired images were shot for Strut, Canada's upmarket fashion and lifestyle glossy. Miss Knightley has complained in the past that her beauty draws attention away from her acting abilities. There are, however, compensations. In 2006 she signed a £600,000 deal to become the face of Chanel and she also has a £1million contract with the royal jeweller Asprey, write China Daily.

Strut magazine, since its launch, has quickly established itself as the premiere showcase for the best in Canadian fashion, photography and culture. Many of the ideas submitted by new writers, photographers and illustrators can be found throughout the pages of their latest issue, and the publication aspires to continue to be a megaphone for new voices in the future. www.strutmagazine.com Image: Kiera Knightley
