Kuoni sponsors Osman Yousefzada

Together with travel company Kuoni, Osman Yousefzada presented his SS10 collection during London Fashion Week. Kuoni established its name by offering diverse travel destinations and tailor-made travel. With the introduction of the Kuoni Concierge Service, the company turned out to be the partner for the Osman label.

Osman’s passion for travel speaks throughout his collections. Each season he translates his travel experience into his design concept that is a mix of traditional and contemporary. For next season Collection 8, explores a futurism inspired by North African and Japanese silhouettes, which are pared back creating a strong minimal look, while still retaining his signature cuts and tailoring.

To celebrate this collaboration, Osman created a special travel capsule collection, called K by Osman. It consists of the luxury items to take on holiday, and include jewellery, shawls, scarves and kaftans. Each piece is influenced by a country that inspired Osman – destinations such as Africa, Italy, France, India, Sri Lanka and Japan, and will be available at Kuoni stores from January 10th 2010.

Kuoni was established over 103 years ago and offers over 100 destinations worldwide. It has a recognized reputation amongst discerning travellers. Showing support for Osman is a reflection of Kuoni’s attitude to young design talent. His creative process is in keeping with the experience of absorbing the culture of other countries, translating it into something that is lasting, luxurious and contemporary.
