Kylie diagnosed with cancer

Australian pop sensation Kylie Minogue has been diagnosed with breast cancer, her management team revealed.

The singer, who turns 37 this month, has cancelled her Australian tour as a result. "I was so looking forward to bringing the Showgirl tour to Australian audiences, and am sorry to have to disappoint my fans. Nevertheless, hopefully all will work out fine and I'll be back with you all again soon." Kylie has always been very active in the fight against breast cancer.

Her treatment will begin immediately.
