Lee Cooper, the fine English denim company since 1908, announces exciting changes for the forthcoming Autumn. The current finance director Andy Dunkley will be taking over as MD. His knowledge of the company and financial expertise make him the natural successor to the current CEO Stefann Le Clair. Andy Dunkley has been the CFO for Lee Cooper since October 2008 and has the experience needed to make the necessary financial changes to support brand investment for the long term growth of the business. An experienced Chartered accountant, Andy has a long history of working with consumer brands across Europe, the Middle east and Asia.

CEO Stefaan Le Clair says of his time at Lee Cooper “working with Lee Cooper was a fantastic experience; I feel really privileged to have been the CEO during the centennial celebrations, which was a once in a lifetime opportunity”.

The Lee Cooper team is to return back to its Paris HQ, France being the strongest market for the brand. With the launch of RDLC this season, its success in stores, Lee Cooper is re-affirming its strong position in a competitive denim market.

The Lee Cooper brand was founded in England in 1908 by Morris Cooper and bills itself as “The Fine English Denim Company Since 1908.” Lee Cooper Limited is a designer, distributor, and marketer of branded jeans, clothing, accessories, and footwear. Nearly 100-years old, it is the third leading brand of jeans in France and in the UK and the second leading brand in Belgium. Lee Cooper has a worldwide presence through its extensive licensee network with operations in over 70 countries.
