LeJu fair trade production

Contemporary jewellery label LeJu has successfully set up its fair trade production process in South America. LeJu is launched by Dutch born jewellery designer Lenny Trines, and London-based Colombian businessman Juan Munoz. From the brand’s interception, LeJu has been very positive about starting its own production in South America. From October 2007, LeJu has been working with girls in Columbia to slowly train them to produce the jewellery to their standards.

LeJu has now succeeded in setting up its first production team in a developing country. The main focus is to help people to further develop their skills and secure a steady income. The employees will also be able to use LeJu’s workshop in London to work on new ideas for future designs and to refine their service. ??
