Sustainable jewellery label LeJu partners with online ethical retailer Adili. LeJu for Adili is an exclusive capsule range featuring LeJu's trademark colourful vegetable ivory jewellery. The collection is comprised of brightly hued short and long necklaces made of big, bold vegetable ivory seeds; geometric carved rings; and chunky bangles, ranging in price from £25 to £75.

"We are delighted to be making a unique collection of LeJu jewellery for Adili. We have wanted to collaborate with another brand for a while and have finally found our match. Adili's ethical philosophy mirrors ours, and their online ethical department store is a perfect outlet for LeJu," says Lenny Trines, LeJu Designer.

LeJu combines contemporary design with naturally sustainable, plant-based materials. South American manufacturing techniques fuse with European design, and are recognised with consumers and global media outlets. LeJu's specialty is the use of a seed known as vegetable ivory. The seed is harvested from a palm tree species called Hyphaene Phytelephas, found in the Amazonian rain forest. Set up by Lenny Trines and Juan Munoz in 2004, Trines discovered her desire to craft jewellery using nature's elements while on a journey through South America.

Launched in 2006 Adili, has fast grown to become the online home of ethical living, offering 80 brands and a wide selection of fashion, beauty and homewear. LeJu for Adili will launch at the end of January for SS09.
