Basso & Brooke’s show had an underground feel to it and took place in the Old Sorting Post office on New Oxford Street. The British design duo who won the first Fashion Fringe edition, created layered textured ruffled skirts, dresses and billowing silks with strong prints, which came in a palette of muted grey, black, burnt oranges and midnight blue. Basso&Brook were inspired by architecture and urban cityscapes which gave the collection a young, rock yet sophisticated feel. The hair reflected this featuring sexy and spiky streaks.

The models were wearing natural pinky beige colours, that gave them a pure rock and roll look. James Kaliardos, international make up artist for L’Oréal Paris was inspired by, “ a rock opera…. and girls like Kate Moss and Irina who are coming back from a party rather than going to the party and look just as cool”.
