LFW goes green with estETHICa

The ethical exhibition of London Fashion Week, estETHICa will be hosting its fourth season from 10-13th February. The platform is devoted to? promote the best in eco-sustainable fashion, and the initiative is hosted in? association with Monsoon and Accessorize. estETHICa has established its name for raising ?awareness and promoting ethically-minded? fashion within the industry and the public, showcasing established and emerging 'green' brands. The initiative shows that ethical fashion in London can be as creative and cutting edge as trendy high street fashion. As consumers are more sensitive to ecological? design, estETHICa works ?with designers who either use recycled materials, organic and sustainable? fibers, or who adhere to being fair trade, by producing? their work in a safe and social environment.

Co-curator Orsola de Castro said: "Support for the sustainable fashion movement? has been incredible worldwide, but in the UK we have ?exceeded all expectations, with unprecedented moves towards ?a more ethical fashion industry."

estETHICa will feature designers i.e. Katharine Hamnett, Noir and Monsoon. The exhibition will be located in The Exhibition at the Natural History Museum.
