This summer will see the launch of Liberty of London’s standalone flagship store on Sloane Street in London. The store is set of two floors and features 1800sq showcasing leather accessories, scarf, swimwear, jewellery and men’s collections. With the new store opening, the brand is looking to develop further as a luxury retailer and set the blueprint for concept stores throughout the global market-place. For the design of the space, Creative Director Tamara Salman is collaborating with Paris-based architects Pierre Beucler and Jean-Christophe Poggioli. “I want to create the ideal backdrop for Liberty of London’s decadent mix of beautiful products. I hope it will echo Liberty’s opulent past, whilst projecting a unique and contemporary vision of the brand today,” Salman explains.

Beucler and Poggioli established their name on the cultural scene creating exhibitions with the Louvre, The Campana Gallery and the Cernushi museum. In addition to their museum projects they have an interest in architectural design in the fashion industry and have worked with luxury fashion houses such as Comme des Garcons, Dior Homme and the recently launched Lanvin stores worldwide.
