Lidl confirms second Heidi Klum collection

Budget supermarket Lidl has confirmed that it will launch a second collection with supermodel Heidi Klum in time for Christmas, which will feature affordable fashion pieces for the festive season.

Launching in December, the second collection called ‘#LetsCelebrate’, follows on from the success of Esmara by Heidi Klum’s ‘Heidi and the City’ range, which launched last month and sold at a rate of 106 items a minute on its first day in the UK.

Featuring 40 pieces, the second collection aims to cover all occasions for the festive season and combines warm winter colours and fabrics such as velvet, satin, sequins and faux fur, said the supermarket.

Klum said: “I wanted to create a simple, elegant fashion line that will make us shine over the festive season.”

Prices start at 5.99 pounds and highlights include a burgundy winter coat, a sequin blazer, a powder pink sequin dress, and a faux fur stole.

The collection will launch in 670 Lidl stores across the UK in the first week of December and will be available in sizes 10-18, along with a selection of accessories and shoes. Internationally, the collection will be available in a total of 28 countries in over 10,000 Lidl stores.
