A new seasonal pop-up shop showcasing work from emerging fashion designers has opened at the London College of Fashion’s East Bank campus. The initiative is a collaboration between not just a shop, University of the Arts London’s retail platform for student entrepreneurs, and the LCF Founders Club, a network supporting alumni-led businesses.
The pop-up, which runs until 20 December, brings together a curated selection of fashion, accessories, homeware and gift items created by students and graduates across UAL’s six colleges. Pieces include inflatable designs by Harri, menswear reinterpretations by Kyle Ho, creative pattern cutting from Chenchen Studios, and new sustainable textile developments by FibreLab.
The event comes at a time when UK-based emerging designers face increasing financial and operational pressures, including reduced wholesale opportunities and shifts in consumer behaviour. Organisers say the pop-up aims to create visibility and commercial space for young brands navigating these challenges.
Operating on a not-for-profit model, not just a shop reinvests proceeds into enterprise education for students, while the LCF Founders Club — now boasting more than 400 members — supports alumni freelancers and business owners. The network’s notable members include designers Bethany Williams, Steven Passaro and Torisheju Dumi.
Harri, whose work gained global attention for its sculptural runway silhouettes, said the pop-up is an opportunity to reconnect with the LCF community that supported his early career. “Visitors can expect to see pieces from our archive and unique samples,” he said in a press release.
In addition to fashion, visitors can browse contemporary homeware by Yod & Co, playful jewellery by Kam Creates and seasonal gifts from Nata Concept Store.
The pop-up is open to the public at LCF’s East Bank campus in Stratford’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
