London Fashion Week Men’s schedule released

London Fashion Week Men’s, formerly known as London Collections: Men, has released its schedule for its upcoming show at the Store Studios, which will run from January 6-9, 2017.
Topman Design will open the event with a catwalk show, followed by a presentation by Phoebe English, other highlights on the opening day includes Barbour, Bobby Abley, Craig Green and the MAN catwalk show.
There are number of new additions to the schedule including Vivienne Westwood returning to London to present both her men’s and women’s collections on January 9, as well as the debut of the new-look Kent and Curwen designed by Daniel Kearns and part-owned by David Beckham, which will host a catwalk show on January 7.
In addition, luxury trainer brand MCCVIII, a collaboration between brothers Will.i.am and Carl Gilliam will be hosting a presentation, while Qasimi, which had previously only shown by appointment is showcasing his collection with a presentation.
This season will also feature a number of coed catwalk showcases with designer labels including Christopher Raeburn, Astrid Andersen, Agi and Sam x The Woolmark Company, Nigel Cabourn, Casely-Hayford, YMC, Maharishi, Belstaff, Vivienne Westwood, John Smedley, all showing men’s and women’s together.
Some brands are also embracing the see-now-buy-now trend, including Barbour International, Edward Crutchley, Agi and Sam, Maharishi, and John Smedley.
Other highlights from the schedule include shows from Sibling, J.W. Anderson and Wales Bonner on January 8, while Michiko Koshino will close proceedings on January 9 with a presentation.
London Fashion Week Men’s will take place from January 6-9.
