London Fashion Week provisional schedule announced

The British Fashion Council has announced the provisional schedule for the upcoming London Fashion Week spring/summer 2017 schedule to be held from September 16-20.

Opening the on-schedule activities on Friday, September 16 will be a presentation by Antipodium, other highlights on the opening day will be Paula Knorr, the latest NewGen recipient and recent Royal College of Art graduate, who will show her collection at the British Fashion Council presentation space.

There are also a number of new additions to the London Fashion Week line-up, including the return of Versus Versace, who will end the Saturday schedule with a catwalk show, while MM6 Maison Martin Margiela have also confirmed that they will this season showcase its collection with a presentation on the Sunday.

Other highlights include Burberry, which this season will be showing both its menswear and womenswear lines at the same show, to close out Monday’s schedule.

There are also a number of newcomers to the schedule, Roberts | Wood, Malone Souliers and milliner Piers Atkinson, will all host presentations for the first time, while designers including Sharon Wauchob, Huishan Zhang, Molly Goddard and Teatum Jones will present their collections with catwalk shows.

London Fashion Week will take place from September 16-20.
