Where would fashion be without any fun, like Jean Charles de Castelbajac’s teddy bear coat or Iceberg’s cartoon sweater? The French designer has been creating quality clothes for both men and woman over 30 years now and is about to open his first London flagship store. On June 5th, the British capital will see the launch of JCC’s store designed by Christian Ghion and Jean Charles de Castelbajac. The flagship located on Conduit Street will feature a ‘Rubik’s cube’ till, designed by Castelbajac and the first of its kind in the world. All of Castelbajac’s products including his fashion collections, luggage, sunglasses, shoes, headwear and stationary will be on offer.

Jean Charles de Castelbajac's first collection was shown in 1973 and his visionary styling has been an inspiration for many fashions. In 1975 he founded the controversial denim brand Jesus Jeans. Previously he also designed for Sportmax, Maxmara and Ellesse. The JCC brand has partnerships with British denim brand Lee Cooper, wallpaper label Lutece and New Era headwear to name but a few. Other JCC flagship stores worldwide include Paris, Tokyo, Kobe, Guam, Galeries Lafayette and Lyon. The French designer label has worn by the likes of Madonna, Mick Jagger and the late John Lennon.
