London - Louis Vuitton has unveiled its second collaborative collection with contemporary artist Jeff Koons. The second "Masters" collection is based on a series of paintings from French impressionist artists such as Claude Monet and Édouard Manet.

For their second tie-up, the iconic fashion house and artist created a range of handbags, accessories and small leather goods inspired by iconic paintings from the French masters, including: 'Reclining Girl' by François Boucher; 'Delightful Land' by Paul Gauguin; 'Luncheon on the Grass' by Edouard Manet; 'Water Lilies' by Claude Monet; 'The Triumph of Pan' by Nicolas Poussin and 'Ancient Rome' by J.m.W. Turner.

The new selection of paintings represent Koons' connection to each of the artists. "They are part of my DNA," said Koons in a statement. "When somebody walks down the street with this bag or sits in a cafe with this bag it’s communicating a love of humanism," added Koons, referring to the Manet Neverfull. As with the first "Masters" collection, which launched this April, each handbag features the artist's version of Louis Vuitton monogram motif, which has been reconfigured to bear his initials. Each handbag in the collection also features a tag in the shape of the inflatable rabbit, which is an enduring motif throughout Koons' work spanning his 40-year career.

The new installment of Louis Vuitton "Masters" collection is set to launch in 150 Louis Vuitton stores across the globe on October 27.
