Louis Vuitton x Comme des Garcons pop up store

One of the most highly anticipated collaborations of the year, if not decade has just launched. The Louis Vuitton x Comme des Garcons pop up store in collaboration with Dover Street Market in Tokyo has fashionistas cooing over one of Rei Kawakubo's designed bags.

Located in the trendy Aoyama district, the stark gray concrete walls house steel boxes coated in LV-logo gold. Each box features a slit or compartment designed to hold a specific model of the six-piece handbag collection.

While the LV x CDG collection is only capsule, celebrity guests were keen to shop and place orders for the delectable bags, which will be ready in approximately 6 months and needless to say a very collectable item. Prices start at 78,750 yen, or £380.

The store, which opens to the public today, will stay open for about three months.
