After opening five M Missoni mono brand boutiques in the US and one in Macao, the Valentino Fashion Group that owns the worldwide licensee of the brand, is launching M Missoni's first shop in Hong Kong. Located in the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Hong Kong with the total area of 2 million square feet. Located at the 2nd floor of the shopping mall, this store aims to be the first of a series of new door openings in Hong Kong and will be followed by another launch in 2009.

Vittorio Missoni declared: I think that this is the next step of the strong development that M Missoni is having worldwide. Hong Kong has always been the fashion-leading place in the Far East and Missoni has been strongly represented for more than 40 years. I am sure that the M Missoni, our younger diffusion line will continue the success of our brand through the next generations.”

The 70m2 store was designed by the Italian architect Barbara Ballabio in line with the concept store approach either with minimal fittings that alternative lacquered white and oak items, brushed metal and bronze elements.

M Missoni boutiques can also be found in Beijing, Shanghai, Dubai, Kuwait and Bucharest. The next shop openings are planned in Qatar for the end of October 2008 and in London at the new Westfield Mall. The estimated turnover of M Missoni in 2008 amounted approximately to 60 million Euros, around 25% increase compared to the previous fiscal year.
