M&S drops Kidd after drug scandal

That supermodels may use drugs is hardly newsworthy.
When a supermodel gets caught in a scandal, however, it’s a different story. In the wake of Jodie Kidd’s drug scandal, where a News of the World undercover reporter published the model tried to sell him cocaine, the model has found herself being axed from a lucrative deal with Marks & Spencer.
Kidd represented M&S Money, the chain's credit card and financial services, but the company has decided not to renew her contract. A spokesperson for Marks & Spencer said: "We do not have an ongoing contract with Jodie Kidd for M&S Money and have no plans to renew it. The ad campaign has already ended and images in store and on point of sale will come to an end soon." A source told the Mail on Sunday: "M&S doesn't do drugs. Period." It has further been reported that Kidd's modeling contract with car company Masserati will also be terminated.
