Madeleine celebrating 40 years of fashion

European womenswear brand Madeleine is celebrating its 40th birthday with a special anniversary collection, which reflects the brand’s heritage.

Highlighting the brand’s elegant and sophisticated style, the anniversary collection, which launches this month, features pieces made from silk and cashmere and include colour blocking separates, day to evening dresses, sophisticated shirts and palazzo pant combos.

“The loyalty and trust of our customers who have accompanied the Madeleine brand for many decades is certainly our greatest achievement,” said Till Oestereich, managing director of Madeleine Fashion UK Ltd. “It shows us that Madeleine has kept up with the latest trends and, above all, given our customers what they want.”

Madeleine launched in 1978 with a small team of just three employees, it is now an internationally successful fashion label with an annual turnover of approximately 150 million pounds.

For 40 years, Madeleine has been catering for women with discerning taste, a strong sense of fashion, who is self-confident and ambitious, with a penchant for top quality garments, states the brand, a customer who’s looking for the perfect outfit to suit every occasion. The brand offers fashion covering everything from modern workwear, elegant eveningwear and contemporary casualwear, through to lingerie, footwear and accessories.

Madeleine currently has operations in eight European countries including the UK, Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Greece, and Belgium.
