Fifty schmifty, or so thinks Madonna, who this week turns the big five o. The singer has just revealed the costume designers lined up for her upcoming Sticky & Sweet tour, and there will no toning down, no vanity choices in relation to her age, and no less sex.

Madonna's stylist, Arianne Phillips, last week confirmed the major designers collaborating on the tour include Givenchy's Ricardo Tisci for costumes, Miu Miu and Stella McCartney for shoes, select pieces by Yves Saint Laurent, and accessories by Moschino. Throw in a little Roberto Cavalli and you can expect the Queen of pop's stage presence to be no less alluring and shocking than before. No Laura Ashley or elegant evening gowns for Madonna. The singer is as interested in 'pushing the envelope' when it comes to fashion as she always has been, says Phillips.

The tour will showcase four distinct fashion themes, with bondage to play a continuing role from the last tour, as will 'old school' and 'gangsta pimp and art deco.' The band will be looking slick in bespoke Tom Ford tailoring and suits.

The tour commences in Cardiff on August 23rd.
