Luxury footwear label Manolo Blahnik has teamed up with German sock manufacturer Falke to launch a limited edition collection of unisex socks. The collection consists of three styles, ribbed heather grey socks with pink pompoms, light pink socks with fuchsia spots and ivory socks featuring an embroidered pink ‘Keep Going’ quote.

Commenting on the collaboration, Blahnik said: "I am very excited about this collaboration. Socks connect your feet with the clothes you are wearing and can make a punctuating statement. I have so many pairs in various colours and materials. Playing with patterns and textures is a lot of fun. And I love when women wear socks with high heels!"

The socks are priced 25 pounds each and are exclusive to the recently launched e-shop of Caroline Issa's Because magazine.

Caroline Issa, publisher of Tank and Because added: "I am so pleased that Because magazine and Fashion Scan are collaborating with Falke and Manolo Blahnik for this exciting project - how could anyone resist a pair of socks imagined from the creative mind that is Mr. Blahnik? Warm AND chic feet-win win!"

To launch the collaboration, Because and Blahnik developed a short video, called ‘Shadow Dancer’, which showcases the socks dancing to a peppy Spanish-style tune.
