New York - Parson's The New School of Design will be honoring one of its most famous alums, Marc Jacobs, as well as LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, which owns his marvelous label, at their 67th Annual Parson's Fashion Benefit on May 19th, 2015. Vogue Editor-in-Chief and Artistic Director of Condé Nast Anna Wintour will be presenting Marc Jacob's with this award, and recently named Saks Fifth Avenue president Marc Metrick will be presenting LVMH with their award.

This year's keynote address will be delivered by The New York Times own Vanessa Friedman, the highly respected fashion critic. This will be Jacobs third time being honored by his alma matter, both he and LVMH will be honored for their contributions to fashion design. One of the biggest highlights of the Fashion Benefit is the graduating students showcase, which is easily the prologue to the book of the next generations greatest designers.

LVMH certainly seems to think so. Chris Gelinas and Erin Beatty were finalists for the LMVH prize last year, and this year Ximon Lee, who has been gaining major attention in the world of fashion, and MFA Fashion Design and Society candidate Andrea Jiapei Lei are also in the running for the LVMH prize. This will not only be a night to honor Jacobs and Louis Vuittion, but, also, to take a look at who could be heading up the design houses of Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Fendi in another thirty or so years.
