British luxury retailer Matchesfashion.com has its sights set on upping its sneaker hand with the launch of its new dedicated area for men, the ’Sneaker Studio.’ The new online section offers a curated selection of both high-end sneakers as well as sportswear sneaker, designer brands and niche brands.

“Over the last couple of seasons, the sneaker has become a core product, and styles from designers and cult labels resonate with our customer,” said junior buyer from Matchesfashion.com Ben Carr to Footwear News. “We expect the Sneaker Studio to become a destination on the site.”

The ‘Sneaker Studio’ offers a wide range of over 30 brands for Autumn/Winter 2016, including well known and under-the-radar brands, such as No.888, a New-York based footwear brand and ETQ, a Dutch label which focuses on creating premium quality, yet simple and clean sneakers. Other key brands offered include OAMC, Y-3, Qasa, Balenziaga and Eytys.

The new dedicated section joins Matchesfashion.com other curated area, including its Coat Studio, Activewear Studio and Sports-luxe Studion.
