Miss Sixty announces plans for Indian market

Together with Gupta H.C. Overseas, the Miss Sixty Group is opening accessory stores and a wholesale distribution network in the main cities of India. The first boutique will open its doors in Delhi on 7th October inside the DFL Saket shopping centre. The new store is set over an 80 square-meter space, and Sixty’s interior designers team created a mix of vintage elements and details representing the Miss Sixty brand.

Overseas the same values and will to operate in a unique and contemporary way. Together, we want to give our clients a high-level service, combining the strength of the people who work at Sixty and of our products with the great professionalism and structured approach of this leader in the Indian distribution market”.

Creative Director and Co-founder Wichy Hassan launched Miss Sixty in 1989. He wanted to create a company where denims and fashion would coexist without any boundaries. Collaborating with Co-founder Renato Rossi, he realised this plan and gave life to an International company with a portfolio comprising several brands. Each of the Group’s brands - Miss Sixty, Energie and Killah - and authentic brands - Murphy & Nye, Refrigiwear, Baracuta and Richlu - have their own identity. The Sixty Group brands are distributed through more than 7000 points of sales worldwide in over 100.

Gupta H.C. Overseas Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and exporter of high fashion ladies Footwear and Accessories. Established in 1987, the company’s clientele includes brands across Europe and houses Spanish & Italian designers for R&D and Italian technicians for quality assurance.

Recently, the Sixty Group also announced a partnership with leading global retailer ALDO Groupe as part if it’s aims globalize the brand. This particular agreement strongly focuses on retail development and consumers in the US.
