Visitors' numbers to the Who's Next and Premiere Classe trade shows in Paris last weekend rose 6 percent to 48,092. The number of foreign buyers to the fairs increased 6.6 percent compared with last year. The first two days of the four-day show were the busiest. The fashion fair Who's Next and the accessories fair Premiere Classe took place in the same halls again this season, reason being the synergy between the two complimentary fairs. Who's Next hosted 650 brands spread out over 45,000 square meters, while 450 accessory brands exhibited their latest collections at Premiere Classe. The organisation argued that the fairs had performed well in an unfavourable economic climate. It pointed out that the increase in foreign buyers signalled the growing importance of the fairs overseas, which is one of its main goals. Foreign visitors to Who's Next made up 30 percent of the total, with the biggest increase registered in American visits.
