Moore designer t-shirts

Pop star and actress Mandy Moore is the next in a long line of celebrities to take to designing. She is launching her own label Mblem in the spring of 2005, although her exclusive line of vintage modern t-shirts already hit a number of US boutiques last August. The preview collection featured lyrics from favourite songs form the 60's to the 80's.

Moore was reputedly inspired by her remake album, "Coverage", which includes covers of Blondie, Carole King and Joni Mitchell, among others. The pretty star says that she is a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal, always in search of the perfect t-shirt. She therefore decided to make her own. The shirts are inspired by rock n roll and batik art, with funky fonts and prints and light weight, extremely soft material. Mblem is currently available at over 100 hip specialty boutiques in the US. For the time being at least, British fans will have to refer the site.
