Known for its creative approach towards fashion, designer label Moschino donated to the charity auction at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York. During the 2008 edition of 'Visionaries!' the career prize was awarded to Claudio Luti, President of Moschino & Kartell, to celebrate his success in design and technology.
For the special occasion, MAD hosted a gala dinner at Pier 60, Chelsea Piers and prepared an auction to raise funds for the Museum. The Italian fashion company donated the 'Mademoiselle by Moschino' chair, and customised it with one of Moschino's most well known prints; Clouds.
Moschino originally customised the Mademoiselle, created by Philippe Starck for Kartell in 2004, in January 2007 for Maison&Objet in Paris and in April of the same year for the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
