MUJI US store

Last week, New York saw the opening of the first MUJI in Soho on 455 Broadway. With 3,200 square feet of retail space, the US MUJI store will stock over 2,000 products, ranging from furniture to fabric and from house ware to health & beauty.

True to the brands goals of reducing waste and conserving resources, MUJI encourages customers to use ‘My Bag’ to reduce the waste of plastic bags. The Soho store is looking to introduce interactive events to encourage environmentally shopping to customers in New York City.

In the first three days of the store launch, MUJI will offer its clients a free ‘My Bag’, there after the shopper will go on sale for $1. With special beneficial stamps and shopping nights, the retail brand will give 'environmental concerned' customers discount on MUJ products.
