Albeit last December was one of the toughest Christmas trading periods on record, my-wardrobe.com announced a 201% like-for-like sales rise of £557 against £185 of the previous year. Launched in April 2006, the online fashion retailer has continued to benefit from the online retail boom with 210% like-for-like increase in unique visitors (259k against 79k) to the site in December, with sales of both accessories and ready-to-wear soaring up to the end of December.

Dispelling the last quarter's on-going news reports of a dip in retail sales, my-wardrobe.com has seen an equally impressive second half year trading, recording a 190% increase in sales on last year (£2.56m against £884k). These figures set a firm platform for the launch of the menswear site on the 27th January, which will see one of the UK's leading fashion e-tailors secure its place as an online shopping destination for both men and women.

The strong growth follows a flurry of award nominations including Best E-Tailer and Best Innovation at the forthcoming Drapers E-Tail Awards and Best Emerging Retailer at the Retail Week Awards in March.

my-wardrobe.com is an internet site that offers clothing, shoes and accessories from 'accessible luxury' designers including By Malene Birger, Anya Hindmarch, Twenty8Twelve, See by Chloe and Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti and leading denim brands such as J Brand and Nudie.
