Naomi Campbell is to host a star-studded charity event for Fashion for Relief. The supermodel aims to raise money for the victim's of the UK floods earlier this summer, by hosting a fashion show with tickets costing up to £750. The event, which is rumoured to take place at Mahiki during London Fashion Week, will see models Yasmin Le Bon, Elle Macpherson and Jodie Kidd supporting for the cause, as well as Kate Moss offerin designs for the catwalk.

Campbell told the Daily Mail: "I kidnapped Kate. She's going to be a designer. I don't know what it will be that she designs. She doesn't really like to do the shows... it will be Kate Moss the designer." She further said: "We wanted to do something to help all those affected by the terrible UK floods, our way. There is no denying the damage was done with the estimated cost for the recovery in the billions."

She added: "As a British model, in my home town in London, I am honoured to be able to put on and be involved in this kind of show."

Macpherson said of her reason for taking part: "My principle is that charity begins at home. This fits right into that category because home for me is the fashion industry and I live in London."

Kidd said: "I was born and bred in the country and the flood was very close to me. I live very close to a flood plain. I've seen how devastating it is when rivers break their banks." But she added: "Once it leaves the news, people tend to forget about it."

This, the second Fashion For Relief, since Hurrican Katrina, will bring together industry giants featuring clothing by the world's most renowned and respected houses including Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Pepe Jeans, and Vivienne Westwood. This event, with tickets for sale to the public, is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the thrill of Fashion Week, up close and personal. All money raised will go to the Rotary Flood Disaster Appeal to assist communities in the affected districts.
