The jewellery collection is in a classic colour palette with an emphasis on black gold, studded with semi-precious white or pink topaz stones. Combining these with a modern attitude apparent in the ‘Slink Trademark’ of gold cutwork designs, Jenden has inspired an audacious collection with a tough elegance for the modern fashion savvy women.
Nathan Jenden attended Central Saint Martins after which he gained a Masters degree at the Royal College of Art, London. Since gaining his Masters at Royal College of Art, Jenden has worked with designers including John Galliano, Kenzo, Daryl K and, most notably, Diane Von Furstenberg. Jenden has held the position of creative director at DVF since 2001, helping to build and expand her own line in to a lifestyle brand. The role gave him the ideal grounding to start his own elegant and modern label in February 2006.
Slink jewellery was launched in 2004, and is the brainchild of Lakshmi Gulab and Kiran Bharwani. Each collection is infused with elements that reflect not only their cultural background and nomadic lifestyles but also their desire to adorn the modern woman with unique, unequivocally wearable statement pieces of jewellery.
