New captain annhagen design team

Having worked with Valentino, Versace and Chanel, Danish designer Jørgen Simonsen is appointed as the new Chief Designer of Danish fashion house 'annhagen'. The haute-couture style of annhagen has an avant-garde personality and will be powered with a unique Scandinavian sensibility and interplay between silhouettes, geometric angels, dramatic drapes and unexpected detailing. Earlier this year in April, annhagen took home The Danish Fashion Award.

In December 2007, the Danish government investment Vækst Fonden, which has co-financed more than 3,500 Danish companies since 1992, for the first time into the fashion area by financing annhagen.

The lead business angel of annhagen, Mrs. Janne Molke-Leth said: "As we are establishing our new design nerve centre in the fashion capital of the world, and are enlisting such a calibre as Simonsen, we are now ready to take the next steps in consolidating annhagen to other important metropolis and to make annhagen the frontrunner in Danish fashion around the world".
