New Design Director for Jaeger

Luxury British fashion brand Jaeger, announced the appointment of Stuart Stockdale as its new Design Director. Established in 1884 and renowned for designing iconic and stylish womenswear, menswear and accessories, the company was acquired by fashion entrepreneur Harold Tillman in 2003.

Belinda Earl, Jaeger's Group Chief Executive, comments: "Stuart Stockdale has joined us to continue to build on Jaeger's current resurgence as a highly successful design house and repositioning as a luxury, global brand. Stuart's broad international experience in both design and wholesale will be invaluable in our drive for worldwide expansion and new product development."

Stuart Stockdale graduated in fashion design from Central St. Martins and gained his M.A. from the Fashion School at the Royal College of Art, London. His career profile shows a varied experience having worked at Romeo Gigli in Milan, Pringle in London, Holliday & Brown in Italy and Jean-Paul Gaultier in Paris.
