Next to join up with Planet Sports?

Leading British fashion chain Next Plc might be next in line to join up with Indian lifestyle retailer Planet Sports, according to Indian media reports. Arun Bharadwai, director of Planet Sports, told The Times of India: "We are in talks with various international brands, Next is among them."

Planet Sports already has a franchise deal with British department store chain Debenhams, which it signed recently. It also has an agreement with US jeans and casual wear brand Guess?. The company also has licensing rights for brands such as Wilson, Puma, Speedo and Prince, as well as for retail chain Marks & Spencer.
