Nike sponsors London Olympic

Even though the London Olympics seem quite far away, Nike is on the ball and announced it will extend its relationship with the U.S. Olympic Committee as an Official Official Outfitter of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams through the London 2012 Olympic Games. Nike will provide U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes with the Medal Stand uniform worn on the awards podium and during medals ceremonies at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, and the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Nike was intercepted in Olympic year 1972, and has supported the Olympic movement by providing athletes with innovative performance footwear, apparel and equipment. Nike first became an Official Sponsor and Licensee of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams in 2005, as athletes and organisers were preparing for the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games.
