Olympic fencers to stay cool

Supplying to the fencing industry for many years, Leon Paul Equipment will be launching hi-tech brand Advansa Thermo°Cool™ in seamless base layer and socks especially designed for fencing. The London originated company established itself in 1921 and delivers high quality equipment and professional clothes to the fencing community.

Leon Paul Equipment designs to optimize the body’s natural thermo-regulation capabilities through smart fibre cross-sections. It provides evaporative cooling or thermo-buffering according to the fencers' activity. Without chemical treatments, it gives enhanced air circulation coupled with moisture management during physical exertion. The design consists of a blend of fibres with different cross sections inside the same yarn that will interact with the user of the garment.

The members of the family have competed in 20 Olympic Games and 30 World Championships and have won 25 national titles. Leon Paul Equipment is the official sponsor of British Fencing and The United States Fencing Association and supplies official uniforms to the UK and US Fencing Team.
