One to watch

Currently studying at the London College of Fashion for her second BA degree, Lako Bukia achieved an honours degree in Fashion Design and Textiles from A. Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Art. The budding designer also showed during Ukrainian Fashion Week and in her home country Georgia.

Lako Bukia now launched her second collection and the concept behind it is based on emotions and the divide between good and bad. Using colour, shape and textiles to represent diverse elements emotional characteristics, Lako Bukia created an innovative collection.

Using materials of different textures the collection incorporates a range of fabrics including wools for the sharper forms and accents of silks to soften the shapes. The collection features pieces such as shirts, dresses, trousers and skirts.
