OTB wins legal award

London - OTB, the parent company of Diesel, Viktor and Rolf, Maison Martin Margiela, and Staff International, was honoured with the Legal Department of the Year Award in the field intellectual property at the Corporate Counsel Awards held in Milan.

The Top Legal event, which is now in its third year, honours and recognises excellence across the legal market in Italy, with awards dedicated to general counsel, tax, environmental law, finance, litigation, as well as intellectual property.

OTB were praised for their continual fight to defend its intellectual property, after the retail group initiated numerous legal actions to protect its brands from counterfeiting, including a recent lawsuit in New York against websites selling fakes.
