& Other Stories has launched a new collaborative collection with House of Hackney today, which features a range of ready-to-wear items and accessories.

The capsule collection aims to capture both colours and forms found in nature and was inspired by Victorian psychedelia, in particular, paintings which feature flowers that do not exist in real life, according to a statement. "This collection encourages women to continue to walk to the beat of their own drum," said the husband and wife team behind House of Hackney, Frieda Gormley and Javvy M Royle.

The co-lab is also said to have been influenced in part by the works of Virginia Woolf and other artists from the Bloomsbury Group. Key pieces in the collection include a blue velvet floral blazer, floral-printed dresses, and trousers, primarily made from sustainable materials such as Tencel and organic cotton. The summer collection has been divided by zodiac, showcasing how wearers can tap into the maximalist style trend.

"The co-lab is a dazzling wardrobe of printed perfections, covered in exquisite prints," added House of Hackney. Founded in 2011 by Gormley and Royle, the brand is best known for its use of bold prints and colours. Prices for the collaborative collection range from 27 pounds for a House of Hackney scarf to 110 pounds for a floral blazer. The co-lab is currently available in selected & Other Stories stores as well as the House of Hackey flagship stores and online.
