"It is fantastic to be involved with TEXPRINT, as it is a great opportunity for the industry to meet designers at the start of their career. Looking around today has really reinforced how important textile design is to the fashion and interiors industry. I wish everyone here the very best of luck with their future careers”, said Sir Paul Smith.
After the launch at First View in London, Texprint brought the 24 designers to Paris to participate and exhibit their work at Indigo, the one of the world’s most prestigious exhibition of specialised textile design and creation, which is part of fashion and fabric show Première Vision Pluriel. With more visitors than previous years, the exhibition has generated important leads for the young designers.
